Diagnose and treat pain and dysfunction

Either in-person or by zoom.Evaluate (Establish the cause of your symptoms. In more than 98% of cases The Yass Method has shown the cause of pain to be muscular. Muscular causes do not show up on MRI.

Treat

Massage and stretch the muscles in distress. This allows the muscles to   respond to the exercises performed optimally allowing them to get stronger faster.

Strengthen

The exercises are performed until pain free function is achieved. These exercises have been scientifically designed and are unique to this method allowing the individual to get stronger faster, regardless of age. Success is determined by achieving full functional capacity not simply the elimination of symptoms such as pain.

Establish

Determine what the goals of the person are. Is the program being designed for general strengthening to optimize overall function or specific to a particular sport or activity where optimal performance is desired. Is the program designed for weight loss, or addressing other systemic issues like cardiovascular disease, pulmonary disease or weight loss. The key to the program is establishing the specific goals being achieved.

Evaluate

Establish if there are any weaknesses or imbalances that must be addressed first. Identify any preexisting injuries that might need to be addressed before beginning general conditioning

Strengthen

Develop a general conditioning strength training program incorporating upper and lower body exercises. The program will include performing a split strengthening system in which different body parts are performed on different days. This allows for optimal energy to push optimal resistance leading to strength gains in the shortest period of time. Sports specific or activity specific exercises will also be integrated to maximize strength output pertaining to the sport or activity if this is a part of the desired goal of the training.

Establish

Determine the goals of the group. Is it to maximize the functional capacity of each individual participant? Is it to develop a unified capacity to work together? Is it that the group plays a sport or performs an activity on the same team and the goal is that all participants be at optimal functional capacity, so the team performs optimally?

Evaluate

Evaluate each person in the group for possible weaknesses or imbalances or preexisting issues that impedes general conditioning from being performed. Develop general conditioning programs for the individuals incorporating joint exercises or activities performed by the group that leads to better team function and comradery.

Strengthen

Develop a general conditioning strength training program incorporating upper and lower body exercises. The program will include performing a split strengthening system in which different body parts are performed on different days. This allows for optimal energy to push optimal resistance leading to strength gains in the shortest period of time. Sports specific or activity specific exercises will also be integrated relating to the group dynamic to maximize strength output pertaining to the sport or activity if this is a part of the desired goal of the training.
